The DYE COURSE at COlleton River
"This is the best course I have ever built." - Pete Dye
Nestled amongst the Lowcountry live oaks and gorgeous wetlands, the Dye Course at Colleton River Club offers breathtaking views of Port Royal Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. This links-style layout is unique in the Southeast, featuring small, undulating greens guarded by deep pot bunkers.
The Dye course hosts prestigious events like the South Carolina Amateur and US Open Qualifiers. The challenging yet visually stunning terrain also caught the attention of Academy Award-winning director Robert Redford, who chose it as a filming location for "The Legend of Bagger Vance."
Colleton River Club spans 1,500 acres on a private peninsula, surrounded by the Lowcountry's tidal marshes and majestic Live Oaks. This exclusive coastal community boasts world-class golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye. With a deep commitment to environmental stewardship, Colleton River Club is home to just a few hundred families, ensuring a close-knit atmosphere.
Located near Hilton Head Island and Old Town Bluffton, residents enjoy easy access to South Carolina’s top vacation spots, yet benefit from the tranquil beauty, privacy, and luxurious amenities a breathtaking Lowcountry haven.
